Our statement of belief defines us as the kind of believers we are and seek to become so as not to leave any doubt in the minds of people who come across us in any way. It helps to position us as a brand, an unmistakably unique and easily identifiable group of believers in the Kingdom of God.
1. We believe in only one God, the Almighty God, the Creator of the Heavens, and the Earth.
2. We believe in the Trinity, who is the Father embodied in the Son, Jesus Christ, the Savior of the World, and who also manifests His power through the Holy Spirit, our comforter, counselor, and teacher.
3. We believe that those who are made new in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct and can only live this way by being filled with the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we believe in sanctification as a spiritual doctrine.
4. We believe that someone who had once known and believed in Jesus Christ and had tasted of His goodness, if departed from faith, can miss his/her salvation. Therefore, we believe in Justification as a Spiritual Doctrine.
5. We believe that a perpetual life of sin can separate someone from eternity with the Lord.
6. We believe in the Bible, as the indelible Word of God, as being handed down to the Disciples of Jesus Christ in form of revelation, prophecies, and direct spoken Word of God, and we believe in the sufficiency of the Bible to establish our faith and conduct.
7. We believe God’s will is for people everywhere to know Him and be made new in Jesus Christ.
8. We believe that the purpose of the Church is to worship God in spirit and in truth and to reach a lost and fallen world with the gospel of Jesus Christ through its worship, witness, and loving deeds.
9. We believe in charity as a critical part of encouragement for believers and non-believers who cannot provide for themselves.
