GCC Publicity & Awareness Ministry

With attendance on the decline, church publicity, and awareness are more important than ever. Publicity can help the church to spread awareness about the programs and activities embarked on by the church geared at getting believers grounded in their walk with the Lord. It’s one of the best ways to welcome new congregation members into the fold and enlist kingdom partners in furtherance of the church’s humanitarian programs.

Gallup recently reported that Americans’ membership in houses of worship has hit an all-time low. In the latest survey, just 47% of Americans said they belonged to a church. That figure has come down from 70% in 1999. The statistics also show that age is strongly linked with church membership. Younger people are less likely to belong to a church. 36% of Millennials say they’re a member of a church, compared to 66% of Conservatives (born before 1946).

GCC Publicity & Awareness Ministry is positioned to fill this gap by using time-tested strategies and media to propagate the Word of the Lord and the programs of the church to the intended audiences, especially the most vulnerable ones, like the young generations.
