Gilgal Ministry International, an arm of Gilgal Christian Center, established in 2004, is an interdenominational Pentecostal organization committed to extending the transformative message of Jesus Christ to the unreached. Our mission encompasses liberating those ensnared by darkness through the power of fervent prayer while simultaneously offering solace to the marginalized within our society. Together, as a united body of believers transcending denominational boundaries, we engage in prayer, evangelism, and altruistic acts to impact lives in the name of Christ.

In this ministry, we understand that destiny is not self-centered; it’s about recognizing the needs of others. It’s about effecting positive change, leaving an indelible mark on your generation and society at large.

Jesus’ earthly ministry centered on three fundamental principles:

  • He nourished the hungry and impoverished, illustrating God’s ability to meet earthly needs.
  • He restored the health of the sick, showcasing God’s authority over illness.
  • He expelled demons, demonstrating God’s supremacy over evil.

These acts weren’t merely displays of His divinity, but a blueprint, a standard for those who would follow in His footsteps. Consequently, any message of salvation that omits these elements is incomplete. In Isaiah 61, Jesus’ mission is explicitly outlined, and upon close examination, one can see that all these facets are encapsulated in His mission statement.

OUR MISSION

Our purpose is firmly rooted in Matthew 25:35:

“For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? ‘When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ “The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’

WHAT IS SALVATION WITHOUT TENDING TO THE NEEDY?

We regularly engage in mission activities, particularly in select African countries grappling with severe food shortages, malnutrition, and health crises. We extend provisions of sustenance, medical aid, and education to these children. Hunger, privation, and needless loss of life are distressingly prevalent. In Africa, South America, and numerous parts of Asia, children succumb to preventable ailments, often due to contaminated water and malnourishment. Many regions in these countries, plagued by both natural disasters and human conflicts, such as AIDS and tribal strife, have left numerous families shattered, leaving many children without guardians to care for them.

ENOUGH OF PREACHING, TIME TO ACT

We personally believe we have preached enough. It’s time to act. The tendency is for you to think somebody else will do it. If every believer thinks somebody else will do it, nothing will get done. Nothing will get done until you, reading this, accept that it’s your responsibility to do it. By the way, if you are waiting until you get that big job with fat pay to start helping, you will never help. If you think that you have to have so much or reach a particular group of people before you start helping, it will never happen.

Any help you render that does not cost you something is not sacrificial. For the most part, what touches the heart of God is when you render sacrificial services for the sake of the Kingdom of God.
