Once you are born again, you automatically become an enemy of Satan. The only thing you need to do to encounter this enemy is to decide to follow Jesus. From that point forward, you become an enemy of Satan. The Bible says you were bought with a price. Bought from whom? From Satan of course. Even though a heavy price was paid, the enemy still is all out to make your Christian experience a rough one. He wants to make you have regrets. He wants to make you have second thoughts. He wants to make you question your decision to follow Christ. That is why the Bible says those that would live righteous lives would suffer many persecutions. Even if you don’t have any other enemies, this one is enough to delay the beautiful prophecies you received at the beginning of the year. So with this one alone, you still have to do warfare if you must have total victory.
